The Queensland Government, in partnership with Keep Australia Beautiful Queensland, developed the Healthy Queensland Awards. The Awards were developed as part of the government's 2020 target to make Queenslanders Australia's healthiest people. Winners share in a total annual pool of $1.6 million in prize money for “healthy” infrastructure.
