Brisbane Spotless Suburbs
In 2012, its fourth year, the Brisbane's Spotless Suburbs competition, in partnership with the Brisbane City Council and SITA Australia engages communities, schools and commercial enterprises in all of the 26 Brisbane wards to highlight their best and most spotless suburb.
This year, the motivation is stronger and more committed to repair and rehabilitate our local parks, streets, schools and community environments.
Encouraging a cleaner, litter-free community; Brisbane City Councillor's and community groups can nominate up to two suburbs for judging in seven categories; Community Pride, Partnerships, Litter Management, Resource Management, Environmental Protection, Young Legends and Litter Champion, recognising outstanding achievement in maintaining and improving litter and resource management, youth involvement and environmental protection.
The overall winner will become Brisbane’s Spotless Suburb.
