Brian Cohalan

Chairman Brian joined the KABQ Board in May 2011. He is the Queensland, State General Manager for SITA and is responsible for the largest municipal waste contract in Australia; Brisbane City Council, which incorporates 120 vehicles and over 150 employees.

He manages a business that operates across the state from Cairns to the Gold Coast and extends into the Bowen Basin.

Brian is a member of the Waste Management Association of Australia and the Waste Contractors and Recyclers Association (QLD). He is active in branch and state issues involving the waste and recycling industries.

Brian has worked for 18 years in the transport and logistics industry and has been in the waste management industry for the past 15 years. He holds a Bachelor of Metallurgy.
